The holidays are even more meaningful when we celebrate together.
Join Black Girls Who Read for Booked for the Holidays, our signature pajama charity experience designed to bring together book lovers, community leaders, and changemakers for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and service.
Arrive in your favorite holiday pajamas and enjoy a festive brunch, a Hot Cocoa Bar, welcome mimosa, live music by DJ Fiyah, Christmas R&B karaoke, holiday games, raffles, festive photo opportunities, and access to the BGWR Community Bookshelf, where every guest can discover their next favorite read.
Beyond the celebration, we'll roll up our sleeves in Santa's Workshop, assembling holiday gifts and self-care kits, writing letters of encouragement to children and caregivers, and collecting new children's books and essential hygiene items to support local families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth community.
